WRITTEN and directed by José “Pinky” Pintor(Cárcel de La Victoria, Cuarto Hombre) and produced for Premium Latin Films S.A. by Franklin Romero, Sanky Panky is an extremely funny comedy starring three Dominican funnymen: Fausto Mata “Boca de Piano” (Piano Mouth), Tony Pascual “Chapuli” and Aquiles Correa.
A “Sanky Panky” is a Don Juan/Dandy kind of predator scouring the areas frequented by tourists looking to pick up a wealthy gringa, and through her, the U.S. visa of his dreams. He is normally the hunky, gym-going kind of guy, but Genaro (Fausto Mata), is short, flimsy and toothy. His vicissitudes in the pursuit of his prey are pure slapstick, but his motives are dead serious: Sanky Panky is a chronicle about an individual who has lost hope of realizing his dreams in the abject conditions his country is going through and resorted to a last-ditch effort to escape his hurtful reality.
